A larger than life creation by Gaetano Pesce for Fish Design made in Milan, Italy. A soft, gloopy vessel in Pesce's iconic resin material hand-made with years of experience, intuition and evolution so colors and shapes vary slightly due to the goal of achieving uniqueness and soul in each piece.  The transparent conical shaped amber body made of layers of soft resin and accented and embellished with playful ribbons that create a sturdy base and make for a striking piece on its own or any floral arrangement a instant work of art.  A special piece in the visionary collection created for more than 20 years and has become a beloved chapter in the history of design.

Approx. 28" H x 17.5" DIA

Made of inedible polyurethane-based resin and does not release any toxic substances into the environment. All pieces are handmade and therefore unique. Bubbles and imperfections are part of the uniqueness of the pieces. Dimensions, shades and color distribution may vary from piece to piece. Please note that due to the natural material and porosity of resin, certain flowers or plants may discolor the vase. Continuous and direct exposure to UV rays can alter the surface and the color appearance of the pieces. Avoid proximity to heat sources above 40°C/105°F. Soft resin products become opaque over time, due to the contact with hands, light and heat. For cleaning, we recommend the use of a soft cloth with mild soap or neutral liquid detergents that do not exceed 5% alcohol.

In 2003 Gaetano Pesce shared his magic formula and vision for a resin product line, known as Fish Design, with Andrea Corsi. This visionary line created in Milan for more than 20 years has become an important part of design and the culture of objects. The studios incredible skill and sensitivity stimulate the senses with its creative use of color. The pliability and tactile nature of resin invites you to touch and feel the works connecting us to it in a special way. Gaetano Pesce is an Italian architect and design pioneer of the 20th century. Pesce also worked as an urban planner and industrial designer in his 50-year career creating numerous notable pieces of furniture. Each piece by Fish Design is accredited with a studio stamp and certificate of authenticity.
