The initial inspiration for the faux curtain folding screen was the Curtain Wall sculpture by Harry Roseman, a piece of art that hangs in JFK’s international air terminal 4. In Julio’s screen, the carved illustration captures a set of billowing curtains, freezing them in time with the opening voids exposing areas of reflective mirror. The frame can fold and expand to fill a range of space. Feet can be adjusted in height for uneven floors. Knobs on the front and back side of the screen can be used to hang clothes, accessories, picture frames, etc. to further personalize the piece.

All Other Passports is inspired by the experience of living in New York City. The screen alludes to curtains on an apartment, opening up to the cityscape. The arches on the sofa frame speak to the bridges that connect the city to its different boroughs. The side table showcases different elements that you might have lying on your side table in your apartment - keys, notepad, coins, a subway card.
