In August 1967 the Panton chair was presented to the public for the first time. Since then it has been considered an iconic design of the 20th century. This set of 2 vintage chairs are molded from single pieces of thermoplastic styrene. Good vintage condition with wear consistent with age and use, one chair has a chip as pictured. Signed at base.

Verner Panton was a Danish architect and designer who is regarded as one of the worlds more influential and prominent designers. His work in the 1960s and 1970s is often referred to as the Panton Era, characterized by his mod shapes and bright colors.
